This journey started unexpectedly a little over a year ago. When the universe thinks that you are ready, it will open up roads that you never thought you would travel and encounter people that you would never have thought about meeting.
We all have our own paths, often we do not get what we want because someone out there knows that it is not what we essentially need.
As the path to new adventures opens up, I have gained many things and lost others. I have learnt through experience that when we initially think something as being devastating often becomes a blessing in disguise. Like creatures that shed their skin, in the beginning it looks rather awful and exhausting but as they blossom and grow into that new skin, it becomes more and more radiantly beautiful. As with any growth, the shedding of negativity, things that do not bring you joy and letting go of the past allows for a regenerated, wiser and more beautiful soul to emerge.
We all have different purposes as we trip and blunder through this path of life, it’s not to say that mine is better than yours or what comforts your soul is the same thing that comforts mine.
I want to be happy.
It’s THAT simple.
I don’t need anyone to make me happy, I don’t need anyone to tell me what they think should be my version of happy and I don’t need anyone to tell me that my happiness is somehow affecting their lives in a negative manner.
I am in a great place right now, I have love, I have joy and the light within me grows brighter and stronger.
